For the course of Mechatronics, we worked together with people from my study area (industrial design) and with people from Electronics ICT. The goal was to design a system that can help electronic wheelchair users learn to drive with their wheelchairs.

After a lot of brainstorming, we chose to design a system that helps people to game while using their joystick and some buttons. Before we designed everything, we conducted some research and interviewed people.  In order to make it a reality, we designed an add-on for the joystick, a console, buttons, and a table to place over the wheelchair as can be seen in the pictures. A little movie was made to present our project and address the problems wheelchair users face.
